Live Event Highlights - North America:
. On September 21, 2003, the RAW brand Pay Per View UNFORGIVEN, emanating
from Giant Center in Hershey, PA, marked the first brand specific
Pay-Per-View to sell out. The show grossed over $560,000.
. Summerslam 2003, WWE's first pay-per-view to emanate from Arizona, took
place on Sunday, August 24, 2003 at America West Arena in front a sold-out
crowd, with a gross of more than $700,000 being generated.
. On Saturday, May 31, 2003, WWE returned to Portland, Oregon, after 10
years. The event's paid attendance of 14,394, marked our highest paid
attendance for a non-televised event since November 1999.
. WWE has booked Madison Square Garden for back-to-back televised live
events three times in two years. Our most recent back-to-back TV MSG shows
was held on June 23-24, 2003. WWE RAW on June 23, 2003 sold out weeks in
advance.
. WWE's Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 17, 2002, was the
highest-grossing WWE live event at New York City's Madison Square Garden,
surpassing the previous gate record of $1.1 million established in 2000 at
Royal Rumble.
. After eight years, WWE returned to Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii,
on Saturday, June 15, 2002. The event was the fastest sell-out in the
history of the building; selling out in less than 75 minutes. This also
marked the first time The RockŪ (as a WWE Superstar) wrestled in his home
state of Hawaii.
